Google Pixel Watch 4 Specifications: Full Specs, Price and Key Features

Google Pixel Watch 4 with a domed Actua 360 display and a grey Moonstone Active Band

The Google Pixel Watch 4 keeps the series' round, domed design and adds a brighter Actua 360 display.

Google Pixel Watch 4 is Google's fourth-generation smartwatch, and it refines the formula that made the Pixel Watch line popular instead of reinventing it from scratch.

The round, domed design is still here, but the display is brighter, the battery lasts longer, and the charging is faster than before.

Here are the full specifications, key features, and price.

Announced on August 20, 2025 alongside the Pixel 10 phones, the Pixel Watch 4 went on sale on October 9, 2025 in two case sizes and both Wi-Fi and LTE versions.

It runs Wear OS 6.0 with Gemini built in, pairs with Android phones, and leans on Fitbit for health and fitness tracking.

If you want a clean, Google-first smartwatch experience, this is the model to look at first.

Key Highlights of Google Pixel Watch 4

  1. Brighter Actua 360 display. The domed AMOLED LTPO display reaches up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness, which makes it easy to read outdoors in direct sunlight.

Google also says the active display area is 10 percent larger while the bezel is 16 percent smaller than before.

  2. Longer battery life. The 41mm model lasts up to 30 hours with the always-on display enabled, while the larger 45mm model stretches that figure to up to 40 hours.

Battery Saver mode extends those figures further, to 48 hours on the 41mm model and 72 hours on the 45mm model.

  3. Faster charging with a new dock.

A 15-minute charge on the included USB-C Quick Charge Dock takes either model to about 50 percent, so a short top-up covers most of a day.

The 41mm model reaches a full charge in about 45 minutes, while the 45mm model takes about 60 minutes.

  4. New Snapdragon W5 Gen 2 chip. The Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 Gen 2 processor, paired with a Cortex-M55 co-processor, delivers smoother performance and better efficiency than the previous generation.

Apps open quickly, animations stay fluid, and the watch handles background health tracking without draining the battery.

  5. Deep Fitbit health and fitness tracking. The watch tracks heart rate, sleep, blood oxygen, skin temperature, and body response, and it supports ECG readings through the ECG app.

More than 40 exercise modes cover running, swimming, cycling, and strength training, with dual-frequency GPS for more accurate outdoor routes.

  6. Gemini and Satellite SOS on board. Gemini on Wear OS 6.0 lets you ask questions, set reminders, and control smart home devices from your wrist using your voice.

LTE models also add Satellite SOS, a first for a standalone smartwatch, so you can call for help even without a cellular signal.

Design and Display

The Pixel Watch 4 keeps the signature water-drop shape of earlier Pixel Watches, with a smooth, domed glass face that curves into the aluminium case.

The housing is made from 100 percent recycled aluminium, and the watch is protected by custom 3D Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for everyday scratches and bumps.

Both sizes measure 12.3mm thick, so the watch sits comfortably on the wrist without feeling bulky.

On the side, you get a rotating haptic crown and a second button above it, which together make scrolling through menus and confirming selections feel natural.

Google has also improved repairability this generation, designing the watch so that the battery and display are easier to replace than before.

That is a welcome change for a device that is worn every day and exposed to knocks, sweat, and water.

The display itself is the star of the show, and it is called the Actua 360 display by Google.

It is a 320 ppi AMOLED LTPO panel with DCI-P3 color, a responsive 1 to 60 Hz refresh rate, and a minimum brightness of just 1 nit for the always-on mode.

Peak brightness of 3,000 nits is a 50 percent jump over the Pixel Watch 3, which means notifications, maps, and workout stats stay visible in bright sunlight.

Water resistance is rated at 5 ATM with an IP68 rating, so the watch is safe for swimming in pools and open water as well as daily showers and rain.

The included Active Band is made from fluoroelastomer with a soft-touch coating, and both small and large band sizes come in the box.

Available case finishes include Matte Black and Polished Silver, with Champagne Gold on the 41mm model and Satin Moonstone on the 45mm model.

Performance and Wear OS

Inside, the Snapdragon W5 Gen 2 chip and 2GB of RAM keep Wear OS 6.0 running smoothly, whether you are switching watch faces, opening apps, or tracking a workout.

Storage stands at 32GB, which leaves plenty of room for offline music, podcasts, and apps from the Play Store.

The watch also supports Bluetooth 6, dual-band Wi-Fi, NFC for contactless payments, and ultra-wideband connectivity.

Wear OS 6.0 brings Google's Material 3 design language to the wrist, with more expressive watch faces, smoother animations, and better-looking tiles and notifications.

Gemini is built into the system, so you can raise your wrist and ask for directions, weather updates, or message drafts without reaching for your phone.

Google Assistant-style voice control, smart home shortcuts, and Google Wallet payments all work directly from the watch.

One thing to note is compatibility, because the Pixel Watch 4 works with most phones running Android 11.0 or newer and requires a Google account and the Google Pixel Watch app.

It does not support the iPhone, so Apple users will need to look elsewhere for a smartwatch.

For Android users, however, the integration with Pixel phones, Google services, and Fitbit is among the tightest available on any Wear OS watch.

Health and Fitness

Health tracking is where the Pixel Watch 4 earns its keep, thanks to a full sensor array and deep Fitbit integration.

A multi-path optical heart rate sensor tracks your pulse continuously, while red and infrared sensors measure blood oxygen saturation during sleep.

Electrical sensors support ECG readings, and a skin conductance sensor tracks body response to stress throughout the day.

Sleep tracking covers sleep stages and quality, and the far-field skin temperature sensor adds another layer of insight into your recovery and daily readiness.

The watch also tracks steps, distance, calories burned, and active zone minutes, and it can automatically detect common workouts when you forget to start them manually.

Dual-frequency GPS, covering GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, BeiDou, QZSS, and NavIC signals, keeps outdoor run and ride routes accurate even in built-up areas.

Safety features round out the package, with fall detection, emergency SOS, and Loss of Pulse Detection, which can call for help if it detects that your heart has stopped.

Satellite SOS on LTE models goes further by connecting to emergency services when you are beyond cellular coverage, which is a genuine safety net for hikers and outdoor athletes.

Combined with more than 40 exercise modes, the Pixel Watch 4 is a serious fitness companion rather than a simple notification mirror.

Battery and Charging

Battery life has long been the weak point of the Pixel Watch line, and the Pixel Watch 4 finally addresses it properly.

The 41mm model carries a 325 mAh battery rated for up to 30 hours with the always-on display, while the 45mm model carries a larger 455 mAh battery rated for up to 40 hours.

Turn on Battery Saver mode and those figures rise to 48 hours and 72 hours respectively, which is enough for a long weekend away.

Charging is handled by a new USB-C Quick Charge Dock, and the charging pins have moved to the side of the case this generation.

Both models reach about 50 percent in roughly 15 minutes, which is ideal for a quick top-up while you shower or get ready in the morning.

The 41mm model reaches about 80 percent in 25 minutes and 100 percent in 45 minutes, while the 45mm model needs about 30 minutes for 80 percent and 60 minutes for a full charge.

In practice, that combination of longer battery life and faster charging removes most of the old anxiety around charging a Pixel Watch every night.

You can wear the watch to bed for sleep tracking, charge it briefly in the morning, and still have plenty of power left for the day ahead.

For many users, that change alone is reason enough to upgrade from an older Pixel Watch model.

Price and Availability

The Google Pixel Watch 4 starts at $349 for the 41mm Wi-Fi model in the United States, while the 41mm LTE model costs $449.

The larger 45mm Wi-Fi model costs $399, and the 45mm LTE model costs $499, so buyers can choose the size and connectivity that fit their budget.

Prices vary by market and retailer, and later discounts have brought the watch down from these launch prices at times.

Google announced the Pixel Watch 4 on August 20, 2025, and the watch went on sale on October 9, 2025 in the US and other major markets.

It is sold through the Google Store, major retailers, and carriers, in both 41mm and 45mm sizes with a choice of case finishes and Active Band colors.

For Android users who want Google's cleanest smartwatch experience, with a brighter display, longer battery life, and strong Fitbit health tracking, the Pixel Watch 4 remains a compelling pick well into 2026.
