The Google Pixel 10 Pro is Google's compact Pro flagship in the Pixel 10 series, announced on August 20, 2025, at the Made by Google event and released on August 28, 2025.

It sits above the regular Pixel 10 and below the larger Pixel 10 Pro XL, keeping the Pro camera system and Pro display in a smaller 6.3-inch body.

It brings the new Tensor G5 chip built on a 3nm process, a brighter Super Actua display, magnetic Pixelsnap charging, and Google's most advanced AI camera tools, including Pro Res Zoom up to 100x. Here are the full specifications, key features, and price.

Key Highlights of Google Pixel 10 Pro

  1. Tensor G5 Chip — Google's first Tensor built by TSMC on a 3nm process, with a faster CPU, a much stronger TPU for on-device AI, and better efficiency than the Tensor G4 it replaces.
  2. 6.3-inch Super Actua Display — The LTPO OLED panel runs at an adaptive 1–120Hz, reaches 3,300 nits of peak brightness, and is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
  3. Triple Pro Camera System — A 50MP main camera, a 48MP ultrawide, and a 48MP 5x telephoto cover every focal length, while Pro Res Zoom uses generative AI to reach up to 100x.
  4. 42MP Front Camera — The wide 103-degree selfie camera fits more people into group shots and records video in 4K at up to 60 fps.
  5. Pixelsnap Magnetic Charging — Built-in magnets snap the phone onto Qi2 chargers and accessories for 15W wireless charging, alongside 30W wired charging for the 4,870 mAh battery.
  6. Android 16 with Seven Years of Updates — The phone ships with Android 16 and Gemini built in, and Google promises seven years of OS, security, and Pixel Drop feature updates.

Design and Display

The Pixel 10 Pro keeps the flat-sided design and full-width camera bar of the Pixel 9 Pro, refined with a polished aluminum frame and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on both the front and the back.

It measures 152.8 x 72 x 8.5 mm, weighs 207 grams, and carries an IP68 rating, so it can survive immersion in up to 1.5 meters of water for 30 minutes.

Inside the camera bar sit the three lenses, an LED flash, and a skin-temperature thermometer, a sensor that remains exclusive to the Pro models.

The phone comes in four finishes: Moonstone, Jade, Porcelain, and Obsidian. The 6.3-inch Super Actua LTPO OLED display has a resolution of 1280 x 2856 pixels (495 ppi), an adaptive refresh rate from 1Hz to 120Hz, and HDR10+ support.

Brightness peaks at 3,300 nits, with 2,200 nits in high-brightness mode, so the screen stays readable in direct sunlight.

A higher 480Hz PWM dimming rate also makes the display easier on sensitive eyes at low brightness.

The Pixel 10 Pro is Google's flagship formula at its best: a manageable size, the full Pro camera system, and AI features that actually save time every day.

Performance

Inside is the Google Tensor G5, built by TSMC on a 3nm process. Its octa-core CPU combines one Cortex-X4 prime core at 3.78 GHz, five Cortex-A725 performance cores, and two Cortex-A520 efficiency cores, paired with a PowerVR DXT-48-1536 GPU.

Google says the CPU is on average 34% faster than the Tensor G4's, while the TPU that powers on-device AI is up to 60% more powerful.

Every model ships with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, so apps stay open in the background for longer and Gemini features run smoothly.

Storage comes in 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB sizes with no microSD slot, so it is worth choosing carefully at purchase.

Note that the 128GB model uses UFS 3.1 storage, while the 256GB and larger models use faster UFS 4.0.

The Titan M2 security chip protects passwords and biometric data, and the Exynos 5400 modem handles 5G connectivity, including Satellite SOS for contacting emergency services outside mobile coverage.

In the United States the phone is dual-eSIM only, while other regions also get a physical nano-SIM slot.

Cameras

The rear system pairs a 50MP main camera (f/1.68, 1/1.3-inch sensor, optical stabilization) with a 48MP ultrawide camera offering a 123-degree field of view and macro focus, plus a 48MP periscope telephoto with 5x optical zoom and optical stabilization.

The telephoto also gains a tele-macro mode this year, joining the ultrawide for close-up shots.

Together the three cameras cover everything from wide landscapes to distant subjects without swapping lenses.

Software does much of the heavy lifting. Pro Res Zoom, exclusive to the Pro models, uses a diffusion model running on the Tensor G5 to rebuild detail at up to 100x zoom, while Camera Coach uses Gemini to suggest better framing and lighting before you shoot.

Familiar tools such as Best Take, Zoom Enhance, and Night Sight are all on board as well.

Video tops out at 8K at 30 fps with Video Boost processing, or 4K at up to 60 fps recorded natively, with 10-bit HDR and improved stabilization.

On the front, the 42MP camera (f/2.2) has a wide 103-degree field of view, autofocus, and 4K video at up to 60 fps, making it one of the strongest selfie cameras on any phone.

Battery and Charging

The 4,870 mAh battery is rated by Google for more than 30 hours of typical use, and up to 100 hours with Extreme Battery Saver turned on.

Real-world mileage varies with 5G use and screen brightness, but the efficient 3nm chip and the adaptive LTPO display both help the phone last a full day for most people.

With a compatible USB-C charger, 30W wired charging takes the battery to about 55% in 30 minutes.

The big addition this year is Pixelsnap: magnets built into the back of the phone align it perfectly on Qi2 wireless chargers for up to 15W charging, and they also work with magnetic stands, wallets, and mounts.

Reverse wireless charging lets the phone top up earbuds or another device in a pinch.

Software and AI Features

The Pixel 10 Pro runs Android 16 with the new Material 3 Expressive design, and Google promises seven years of Android OS upgrades, security patches, and Pixel Drops, so the phone stays supported until 2032.

Gemini is built in as the default assistant across the system, from summarizing notifications to editing photos with a typed instruction.

The headline addition is Magic Cue, which uses on-device AI to surface helpful information at the right moment, such as pulling a flight detail from your email into a chat.

Circle to Search, Gemini Live, and Call Assist features round out a software package that leans on intelligence rather than raw benchmark numbers.
